Are you looking for a simple tooth straightening treatment, which delivers results rapidly? If so, allow us to introduce you to Simpli5.
What is Simpli5?
Simpli5 is a removable aligner system, which uses a set of five bespoke aligners to gently guide the teeth into the desired position. Simpli5 aligners are made from transparent plastic, and each patient is presented with a set of custom-designed braces, which are worn in a set order. This treatment is ideally suited to patients who have minor issues that affect the front teeth, also known as the social 6.
The Simpli5 process
The Simpli5 process is different to many other types of orthodontic treatment. Rather than using a single brace made from brackets and wires to straighten the teeth, Simpli5 employs a sequence of custom-designed aligners to reposition the teeth. Each aligner is different, and there’s a set order to follow. Every aligner should be in place for 2-4 weeks and treatment is complete once the fifth and final aligner is removed for the last time. As Simpli5 aligners are removable, you can take them out to eat and brush your teeth.
The benefits of Simpli5
Simpli5 offers a wealth of benefits for orthodontic patients, including:
- Speed: if you’re after results in a hurry, look no further than Simpli5. With each aligner in place for 2-4 weeks, this produces a total treatment time of just 10-20 weeks. You’ll be showing off your new smile before you know it!
- Flexibility: Simpli5 aligners are removable, which gives you much greater flexibility than fixed braces. With these aligners, you can take your braces out when you’re eating and when you want to clean your teeth. Ideally, we recommend wearing the braces for around 22 hours per day.
- Aesthetics: if you want to keep a low profile when you’re having treatment, Simpli5 could be the ideal option for you. With these aligners, nobody else will know that you’re wearing a brace.
- Simplicity: Simpli5, as the name suggests, is an incredibly straightforward treatment. All you have to do is follow the order and swap your aligners over after 2-4 weeks as instructed by your dentist.
