Bad breath is a problem that most of us experience now and again, usually following an aromatic lunch or a morning coffee; however, if you suffer from bad breath on a regular basis, there could be an underlying cause. If halitosis is a problem in your day-to-day life, we can help.
Causes of bad breath
Bad breath is caused by bacteria. These release unpleasant odorous gases when they feed. There are many bacteria in the mouth, but some are harmful and these tend to gather if you neglect teeth cleaning. When you brush and floss, you remove food debris and bacteria from your mouth and this helps to lower the risk of gum disease and decay, as well as bad breath.
Bad breath can also be caused by eating and drinking certain foods and drinks, smoking and taking some types of medication.

They can remove surface stains and ensure your breath smells fresh and clean. They use the latest technology to remove plaque and tartar from the teeth and cleanse the tongue, which is a very common breeding ground for bacteria, and just a single session can make a huge difference.
We can also recommend oral hygiene tips to use at home and we encourage all our clients to attend regular routine check-ups.
