At Aqua Dental Clinic, we specialise in sensational smiles, but we also offer the latest facial treatments. It’s our aim to make you look and feel fabulous. One of our most popular facial services is Restylane. Restylane is a filler treatment, which is capable of making your smile look stunning, as well as giving you youthful, vibrant skin.

What exactly is Restylane?

Restylane is a non-surgical filler treatment, which is commonly used to smooth out wrinkles and prevent the skin from sagging and dropping when collagen stores become depleted. As you age, the amount of collagen in the body decreases and this causes the skin to lose firmness and bounce. Restylane is injected into the skin to add volume and define your best facial features. Although it is famed for creating amazing complexions, Restylane can also help to refresh your smile by enhancing your lips. Creating fuller lips frames the teeth, and gives you more confidence.

Is Restylane treatment safe?

Restylane works by using hyaluronic acid to increase volume in the skin or lips. This is an ingredient, which is found naturally in the body. Restylane is considered to be a very safe and effective treatment for your skin and your smile when administered by trained, experienced aesthetic practitioners.

What does treatment involve?

The treatment process is quick and simple. If you’re having injections in your skin, for example, in the cheeks or forehead, a very fine needle will be used to gently inject the fluid. This isn’t painful and treatment can usually be completed in 30 minutes. If you’re having fillers in your lips, we will use a mild anaesthetic to numb the skin, as the skin on the lips is very delicate and sensitive. The amount of filler used is carefully controlled, and we always aim for natural results.
